While it’s still cold and dark in the morning, and spring has just barely arrived, we hope you are looking forward to another great summer at Valley Brook. As you may know, last year we completed several major projects. They include:

  • Replacement of pool heater, pump motor, and motor starter
  • Addition of umbrellas
  • Removal of the flood damaged lower court and replacement with a multi-use grass area that can be used for overflow parking, soccer, and volleyball
  • Repaired several concrete sections of the main pool, filled in cracks, and repainted the areas that were repaired
  • Removal of trees that were threatening the perimeter fencing of the club
  • Painted the Men’s room, removed drop ceiling, added fixtures and lighting (similar to ladies room but without the décor)

The board is continuing to make improvements to the club, and we thank our volunteers who have helped make Valley Brook such a success. In addition to basic maintenance and cleanup, these are the major projects we are working on this season:

  • Replacing large areas of concrete in the pool and deck
  • Resealing the upper parking lot and repainting parking lines
  • Automating the chlorination system and converting to liquid chorine
  • Improving the baby pool circulation system
  • Replacing of the diving board
  • Upgrading the snack bar

Pool opens on
Saturday, May 25
at 11:00 am.

Membership renewals must be paid for by May 6 to avoid a late fee.
